The painting “Chestnut in Bloom” by artist Vincent Van Gogh is among four paintings that have been stolen from the Buehrle Foundation museum outside of Zurich.
Three armed men in ski masks took 3 other paintings along with “Chestnut in Bloom.” They include “Poppies near Vetheuil” by Claude Monet (1879), “Count Lepic and his Daughters” by Edgar Degas (1871) and “Boy in a Red Jacket” by Paul Cezanne (1888). The paintings are valued at $160 million dollars.
