Google Bringing Advertisers To The Radio – Google Audio Advertising

Google has been working to make inroads in many different ways of advertising and their most recent endeavor takes advertisers over the radiowaves.

The program is still in limited release, but Google Audio Ads will allow advertisers to buy commercials on radio stations throughout the United States. Advertisers can choose what genre, specific location, station type, or time of day they want their audio ad to be played.

After the campaign runs advertisers can log in to see when exactly their ad played.

Google has partnered with a number of radio stations to distribute ads and is working to build more relationships with other radio stations that aren’t currently participating. It’s been in a beta for a while, so there’s a chance you might have heard a Google Audio ad already!

I think this is an innovative idea that is working to cross the bridge between many different types of media companies.

What do you think about this idea? Will you use Google Audio ads?

That is a awsome idea, I really can’t wait to see it ready.

I can see myself actually using this as its a stronger way to get visitors to your website rather than using adwords.
Now what would be good is if they brought this to TV!
