Google Closing The “Answers” Division

December 1, 2006 – 3:56 pm

Sad news from the folks over at Google.

They’ve decided to close their “Answers” division that allowed surfers to ask researchers questions and get answers for a nominal fee. Users can still search the database for questions that were previously answered.

Yahoo continues to offer a comparable service at Yahoo Answers which allows registered users to ask and answer questions without having to pay for it. They have a wide range of topics ranging from arts, beauty and fashion to computer programming and travel.

If you have questions about something or are looking for advice or opinions Yahoo can help you find what you need online.

Be sure to have a look! Yahoo Answers
