Google is always working on new and innovative ways to search the internet and this time they brewed up their personalized search engine. It’s being called the Google Custom Search Engine and allows users or organizations to group websites they wish to access in one handy format.
“We want to make it easy for anyone to create a search engine about all of their favorite topics, without needing a Ph.D.,” Marissa Mayer, Google’s vice president of search products and user experience, said in a prepared statement.
The program also allows users to adjust it’s look and functionality and can even be used to generate revenue using Adsense.
A Google account is required to use this service, and it can be found here:
Personalized Search Beta.
