Green Puppy

If you thought that being green was exclusive to the Incredible Hulk - it’s not.

A puppy born in New Orleans was born “green.” Despite his odd looks, the puppy is healthy and won’t retain his green hue for very long.

“It’s surprising, alarming to see. Sometimes, when a puppy is born, the amniotic fluid mixes with the placenta and dyes the coat of the puppy and it almost always happens to very light colored puppies. There are not health concerns, it’s really just a discoloration in the birthing process.”
said Louisiana SPCA CEO Anna Zorrilla.

She also stated that the puppy will probably be white or light tan in the weeks and months to come.
It’s a good thing that this oddity in science will correct itself, otherwise the puppy might be named Leprechaun!
