Launch Pad Workshop Taking Place At Web 2.0 Conference

If you’re interested in the internet and the breakout of Web 2.0 companies, you might be interested in the Web 2.0 Conference being sponsored by O’Reilly and CMP Technologies.

This conference takes place November 7-9, 2006 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. At 2 PM on November 7, 2006, 13 new startup companies will showcase their product or service innovations. Companies that were selected include the following “Lucky 13.”

Over 250 companies applied to be showcased at this event. The first LaunchPad Workshop was held in 2005.

“The Web 2.0 Conference has become the gathering place for business leaders of the new Web, showcasing industry titans as well as startups eager to make their names in the market,” said John Battelle, Web 2.0 Program Chair. “The participants in this year’s Launch Pad Workshop are perfect examples of companies that are reshaping the business landscape and creating opportunities leveraging the power of the Internet.”

This showcase of up and coming internet companies is open to the press and attendees of the event.
