Myspace Enters Into News Delivery
Myspace recently announced that they are adding a news portal to their website.
This news portal is expected to work much like Digg and Netscape, but Myspace will search for news from online journals and other news sites. Digg and Netscape both rely on user generated stories.
Myspace will allow web publishers to exclude their websites in results, just like Google, but disallowing their search would also stop any potential traffic that Myspace News could provide.
The news portal is currently in beta and can be accessed at News.Myspace.com
