Spy Satellite Shoot Down Delayed

February 20, 2008 – 2:11 pm

The Spy satellite that was scheduled to be shot down today has been delayed due to bad weather.

A Pentagon official said that the high seas are currently an obstacle in the north Pacific where Navy Ships were to shoot the wayward spy satellite out of the sky.

There was no word that the mission had been scrapped and other factors could impact a decision on the timing of the shootdown.
