Yahoo, Google And Microsoft Work Together On Sitemap Project

November 20, 2006 – 11:32 am

Recently Yahoo announced that they’ve joined together with Google and Microsoft in an initiative to make an interface for webmasters to submit their websites into their search engines.

The website, Sitemaps.org can be used to create a catalog of websites and notify all three search engines when your website changes. This will also help the search engines crawl your site more efficiently and index your pages faster.

Interested site owners can Click here to submit their website using Yahoo’s Site Explorer.
